Class is back in session!
The sun might be setting on summer but things are looking up for the Outdoors Club. We've got a big year planned and are looking forward to this year's future epic adventures!
Clubs Days this year will be on the 15th and 16th in the University Student Union Building - that's next week! We'll be located with all the other athletics clubs in the Upper Lounge opposite the Michele Pujol room. Come check us out and sign up for this year's shenanigans!
We've got some hush hush plans in the works, along with the launch of a few very new programs (Free money? Yes please!) but you'll have to come to our meetings on Wednesdays at 5:30 in Vertigo (in the SUB) to find out more! First meeting will be the 15th, right after the first Clubs Day.
If you'd like to volunteer at the ODC table please send us an email. You get a thank you dinner at the end of the term, and mad street cred.

ODC Jack-O-Lanterning Scavenger Hunt! THIS FRIDAY! Want to get in the Halloween spirit? Haven't met your fellow ODC'ers? Here's your chance, come out to:
The UVic Outdoors Club wants you to come take part in a night of pumpkin carving and scavenger hunting awesomeness! Sign up yourself or your team at the ODC meeting, this Wednesday (5:30 in Vertigo). $5 includes your pumpkin, and a chance at the prizes.
When:
Friday October 30th, 5:30pm
Where:
We will meet at Derek’s house (address provided with registration) to begin the night and carve our pumpkins! Once carving is finished, we will find our way downtown, and take part in an EPIC scavenger hunt with our pumpkins. After the scavenger hunt is done, we will head back to Derek’s for judging, prizes, and general post scavenger shenanigans.
Who:
You! For the scavenger hunt portion of the night we will group into teams of four to take part in the scavenger hunt. Friends who aren’t ODC members are welcome to the event too.
What:
Pumpkin carving and scavenger hunt downtown, with various beverages thrown in for good measure! Pumpkins and prizes will be supplied for a $5 fee (per pumpkin, NOT per team).
Why:
Cause it’ll be heaps of fun!
