Hike with Team Diabetes and Make a Difference!
“We realized Team Diabetes had created something more than just a run, or fundraiser, or trip. Team Diabetes is an opportunity to support a cause that touches people worldwide and at the same time changes your life forever. The completion of each Team Diabetes event is very emotional and brings hope and the feeling that a cure can be found.” Kim Konias, Team Diabetes participant whose daughter has Type 1 Diabetes.
Team Diabetes is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2010 and since the program’s inception, over 4,000 team members have raised $23.5 million in support of diabetes education, research, advocacy and programs but a lot more still needs to be done.
